About 20 kilometers west of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, the Shouhang High-Tech Dunhuang 100MW molten salt tower solar thermal power station, known as the "super mirror power station", shines on the Gobi Desert.

More than 12,000 heliostats in the power station surround the 260-meter-high heat absorption tower in concentric circles. The total reflection area of the mirror field is more than 1.4 million square meters. The designed annual power generation is 390 million kWh, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 350,000 tons per year. It is the largest 100MW molten salt tower solar thermal power station in my country with the highest heat absorption tower and can generate electricity continuously for 24 hours
