The Special Research Group on the Construction Planning of the Demonstration Project of Electrification of Xinjiang has invested a total of 5 billion yuan in 14 major prefectures and cities such as Urumqi, Karamay, Korla City, and the Seventh Division of the Corps to build electric heating demonstration projects in the first phase. Under the promotion of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Political Consultative Conference, the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the Autonomous Region Political Consultative Conference, together with relevant departments of the Autonomous Region Government, completed the preliminary investigation and consultation theoretical research work of electrification Xinjiang. In order to implement the overall plan for electrification Xinjiang, according to the plan, based on the pilot construction experience in some regions, the Autonomous Region Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Scientific Research Association will work with the Autonomous Region Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Expert Committee to implement the electrification Xinjiang demonstration project construction plan, and set up an electrification Xinjiang demonstration project construction plan research group, adopting the method of planning and construction at the same time to promote and coordinate the construction of various demonstration projects. The electrification Xinjiang demonstration project construction service platform was established in the Autonomous Region Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Scientific Research Association, and the demonstration project construction projects including electric heating in Xinjiang were promoted in a coordinated manner through market economic means.
